The 6th edition of the Chianti Classico Marathon will take place on Sunday, May 12, 2024, with starting and finishing points for all routes from Piazza Vittorio Veneto to Mercatale Val di Pesa (Florence).
The participation options are diverse, suitable for every level of experience and physical preparation:
🚩 ULTRATRAIL 47.2 km: The ultimate challenge for true enthusiasts, starting at 7:00 a.m. The registration fee is currently €40, but hurry, on April 1st it will increase to €55. Race pack includes: a bottle of Chianti Classico DOCG wine from Castello di Gabbiano, a technical shirt, a handmade finisher medal in Impruneta terracotta, and a final lunch.
🚩 TRAIL 21.8 km: An engaging route that will let you discover the most suggestive landscapes of the area, starting at 8:30 a.m. Currently, the registration fee is only €25, but don’t delay, from April 1st it will be €35. Race pack includes: a bottle of Chianti Classico DOCG wine from Castello di Gabbiano, a technical shirt, a handmade finisher medal in Impruneta terracotta, and a final lunch.
🚩 10 km free pace and Nordic walking: A more relaxed option for those who want to enjoy the beauty of Chianti without haste. Starting at 9:00 a.m. with a registration fee of only €10 forever. Race pack includes: a technical shirt and a large enogastronomic stop.
