Registrations are officially open for the 5th edition of the Chianti Classico Marathon which will take place as usual on the first weekend of June, and therefore on 3 and 4 June 2023.
The event will always start from the setting of Mercatale in Val di Pesa in the municipality of San Casciano Val di Pesa (Fi) and there will once again be three distances from which you can choose: 45 km ultratrail, 21 km trail and 10 km to go at the pace you prefer whether it’s running, walking or Nordic walking.
The route includes the passage through the most evocative places of the Chianti Classico Fiorentino area among vineyards, villages, medieval villages and prestigious castles that have made the history of Tuscan and Italian wine.
Participation is limited and the maximum number of members for each distance is: 200 athletes for ultratrail, 350 for trail and 400 for the 10 km free pace.
In the race pack the athletes will find:
Ultratrail: technical jersey of the event + bottle of Chianti Classico wine + medal + Whip App for live tracking + lunch.
Trail: Technical jersey of the event + bottle of Chianti Classico wine + medal + Whip App for live tracking (optional during registration) + lunch with a small contribution to be defined.
Nordic walking / free step: Technical jersey of the event + refreshment.

– Ultra Trail: € 30.00 until 31 January 2023, from 1 February 2023 to 30 April 2023 € 40.00, from 1 May 2023 until 02 June 2023 € 50.00.
– Trail: € 20.00 until 31 January 2023 from 1 February 2023 to 30 April 2023 € 25.00, from 1 May 2023 until 02 June 2023 Euro 30.00.
– Nordic walking and free pass: € 10.00 always up to half an hour before departure.
