On the occasion of the Chianti Classico Marathon on Saturday 4th June it will be possible to visit the ancient cellars of Castello di Gabbiano and to follow a tasting of 3 Chianti Classico wines of the Castle: Annata, Riserva and Gran Selezione.
The tasting will be accompanied by flakes of Parmigiano Reggiano.
You can choose between two times in the morning at 11.30 and in the afternoon at 15.30.
For the 11.30 am visit it is possible to take a walk starting at 11.00 am from Mercatale in Val di Pesa together with a member of the organization who will accompany the participants to Castello di Gabbiano. The walk is about 30 ‘for a distance of 2.7 km.
